Required Qualifications

Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of PointClickCare or similar EMR systems. Familiarity with clinical data tracking and quality improvement processes. Ability to build relationships with hospitals, referral sources, and community partners. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Admissions Leadership:
Establishes a culture of compliance by adhering to all facility policies and procedures. Complies with standards of business conduct, and state/federal regulations and guidelines.
Follows appropriate safety and hygiene measures at all times to protect residents and themselves.
Maintains confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written, and electronic communications.
Reports noncompliance with policies, procedures, regulations, or breaches in confidentiality to appropriate personnel. Reports any retaliation or discrimination to HR or compliance officer.
Reports any allegations of abuse, neglect, misappropriation of property, exploitation, or mistreatment of residents to supervisor/Administrator/Abuse Coordinator. Protects residents from abuse, and cooperates with all investigations.
Reports any occupational exposures to blood, body fluids, infectious materials, and/or hazardous chemicals in accordance with facility policy.
Participates in all life safety and emergency drills and trainings. Fulfills responsibilities as assigned during implementation or activation of the facility’s emergency plan.
Reports work-related injuries and illnesses immediately to supervisor.
Follows established infection control policies and procedures.

- Oversee and manage the clinical components of the admission process, ensuring timely and appropriate resident placements.
- Conduct pre-admission clinical evaluations to determine care needs and suitability.
- Collaborate with hospitals, case managers, and referral sources to facilitate smooth transitions.
- Ensure strong communication and rapport with prospective residents and families.
- Coordinate with the marketing and admissions teams to support census growth initiatives. Clinical Services Oversight:
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight to nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and company policies.
- Monitor quality indicators (e.g., falls, wounds, infections, rehospitalizations) and implement action plans to improve outcomes.
- Lead or support QA/QAPI initiatives and prepare for regulatory surveys.
- Support clinical onboarding and orientation of new staff. Leadership & Team Collaboration:
- Serve as a key member of the facility leadership team.
- Mentor and coach unit managers, nurses, and other clinical staff to ensure quality service delivery.
- Collaborate with therapy, social services, MDS, and dietary departments to ensure holistic care planning.
