The ideal candidate is excited about designing electronics in high-reliability applications with a proven track record of quickly developing new hardware. You will be responsible for the full product life cycle, from initial concept to delivery and operation. Your will work at fast-paced in a dynamic startup environment and will have a direct impact on company's mission.
Role responsibilities
Rapidly develop high-reliability electronics for aircraft.
Own system trades, component selection, analysis, schematic capture, layout, bring-up, debugging, manufacturing, and test.
Support hardware through ground testing and flight
Work closely with other engineering disciplines to design and develop the overall aircraft systems to be more efficient and reliable.
Must Have Requirement :
Seniority
4 years of experience designing, building, or testing circuit boards or other electronics.
Work experience
Proven track record of designing and shipping hardware products, not just prototyping or personal projects
Education
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from a top engineering school.
Hard skills
Experience developing new hardware or systems with minimal time and resources.
Deep circuit design expertise, particularly in& high voltage / high power inverters.&
Experience with sensor signal conditioning circuits, motor inverters / controllers, or other actuation systems.
Experience with switching power converters, magnetics, solid state load switches, or analog control loops.
Experience with digital processors, memory chips, or network switches.
Experience with circuit board layout and deep knowledge of the circuits in the projects they've worked on.
Experience with automating hardware development functions (ex. test scripts for bench testing, scripting to accelerate analysis, etc.).
Experience building products from scratch rather than hacking things together in personal projects
Soft skills
Ability to work independently without requiring significant mentorship
