AI/ML Engineer (Wargaming & Simulation) | Active TS/SCI Clearance

We are seeking an AI & Data Science expert with an active U.S. security clearance to develop and integrate cutting-edge AI solutions into NATO’s wargaming and defense simulations. This role involves working closely with military strategists, data scientists, and AI engineers to enhance decision-making capabilities through machine learning, real-time analytics, and human-machine teaming.

Key Responsibilities

• AI Integration: Lead AI-driven innovations for NATO’s defense simulations and wargaming operations.
• Machine Learning & Data Science: Develop predictive models, real-time analytics, and AI-enhanced decision support tools.
• Simulation & Wargaming Analytics: Improve AI-driven strategy simulations for military exercises.
• Human-Machine Collaboration: Optimize AI tools to support joint operations and warfighting decision-making.
• AI Research & Development: Conduct R&D on large language models (LLMs), generative AI, and reinforcement learning for military applications.
• Training & Support: Train NATO and DoD personnel on the role of AI in defense, wargaming, and autonomous systems.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure all AI applications comply with DoD and NATO cybersecurity protocols.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with an active Secret (or higher) clearance.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, AI, ML, or a related field.
• 4 years of experience in AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science (Defense or DoD experience preferred).
• Expertise in AI/ML frameworks: Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and NLP/LLMs.
• Strong understanding of wargaming & military simulations (preferred).
• Experience working with classified or defense-related datasets.
