Key Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain conveyor systems, including splicing, belt cleaning, and pulley lagging.
- Perform mechanical and step splicing using hot and cold repair methods.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper equipment handling.
- Provide professional customer service and escalate issues as needed.
- Maintain accurate paperwork and a clean work environment.
- Train and mentor apprentices.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on mechanical experience in a related field.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract.
- Ability to pass pre-access drug and alcohol screening.
- Comfortable working in industrial settings and various weather conditions.
