Head of Operations (logistics/manufacturing)

We’re looking for a dynamic Operations Leader to drive efficiency, streamline workflows, and scale our logistics and production processes. This role is ideal for someone passionate about innovation, optimization, and building a strong operational foundation for a fast-growing, mission-driven startup.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, including logistics, production, inventory, and vendor management.
• Develop and refine SOPs to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Lead and mentor the operations team, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Collaborate with finance and leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
• Ensure operational scalability to support rapid company growth.

• 5 years of experience in operations management (logistics/manufacturing preferred; startup experience a plus).
• A proven track record of scaling operations with limited resources.
• Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
• A passion for sustainability and a hands-on, problem-solving approach.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Must be within a commutable distance (no relocation assistance).
• Must be an early-career professional ready to take on a leadership role.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  
  

Interview Process

• Initial Phone Screen (30 mins) – Background discussion, startup culture fit, and core operations experience.
• Team Interview (1–2 hours) – Meet with founders and key department leads, discuss scaling strategies.
• Final Executive Interview (30 mins) – Conversation with a senior leader to confirm vision alignment and cultural fit.
  
  

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Oversee production scheduling, logistics coordination, and operational tasks.
• Monitor KPIs, budgets, and strategic projects.
