- ResponsibilitiesPrecision Assembly: Read and interpret manufacturing drawings to assemble parts and machinery accurately.
- Technical Expertise: Use hand and power tools, such as drills, grinders, and impact guns, for machine assembly.
- Quality Control: Ensure all assembled components function smoothly without binding or looseness, performing hand-fitting and deburring as required.
- Machine Testing: Collaborate with checkout personnel to conduct final machine testing, verifying operation to specifications.
- Process Efficiency: Engage in and support lean manufacturing processes to optimize workflow and productivity.
- Workplace Maintenance: Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to organizational standards.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Additional Duties: Assist with related tasks as needed to meet team and production goals.
- Qualifications
- 5 years experience assembling or repairing complex machinery to close tolerances preferred.
- Strong mechanical inclination.
- Experience with hydraulic equipment and ability to read hydraulic schematics.
- High School Diploma or GED
