FZ is looking for a Digital Media Intern for the Grand Rapids, MI office to join our 2025 Summer Intern program. Our interns will be responsible for supporting their assigned department on day-to-day duties as well as working on an assigned project for the duration of this 14-week internship. The internship will also include developmental opportunities such as visiting construction jobsites to learn more about FZ’s business, networking opportunities, a training session to familiarize themselves with their own personal workstyle as well as how to work better with others, taking part in National Intern Day and much more!

Areas of focus during the internship:
- Storytelling through videography and social content creation
- Create social media content and website videos by utilizing existing content
- Shoot new video content
- Organize b-roll and video files
- Design social media templates
- Pitch new design and video ideas
- Improve our SEO by making edits to our website
- Perform general marketing tasks as needed
Key Qualifications:
- Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program and is pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or similar – incoming Junior or Senior status for Fall ’25 semester preferred
- Ability to work in-office 40 hours per week from May-August ’25
- Interest in photography and/or videography
- Experience creating and publishing video content
- Demonstrated ability to story tell visually through photos, video, and design
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
- Ability to submit a portfolio of your work
- Premier Pro, WordPress, and Canva experience a plus!
