About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Site Manager to lead and oversee the execution of automation projects directly on-site. This role is critical to ensuring the successful implementation, integration, and commissioning of systems, while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all on-site activities related to the implementation of automation systems, including electrical systems, PLCs, robots, and joining technologies.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the client and the project team, ensuring clear communication and alignment with project goals.
- Supervise the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of automation systems.
- Ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, programming, and maintenance teams, to resolve on-site challenges.
- Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards at all times.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, or related fields).
- Experience:
- Proven experience in managing on-site operations for automation or industrial projects.
- Strong background in integrating electrical systems, PLCs, and robotics.
- Knowledge of joining technologies (e.g., resistance welding, MIG/MAG, laser, adhesive applications).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and commissioning automation systems.
- Familiarity with customer standards such as BMW, Magna, GM.
- Leadership Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capability to lead on-site teams effectively.
- Language Skills: Advanced English proficiency (B2/C1) for international collaboration.
- Availability: Must be willing to travel extensively or relocate for project assignments.
