Full Job Description: House Supervisor (Certified Administrator) – Adolescent Residential Programs
Location: Greater Sacramento, CA
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year
Schedule: Monday – Friday with some evening availability
Are you a dedicated leader with experience in residential mental health programs? We are seeking a House Supervisor to oversee operations in our Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP) and Shelter Care Program for adolescents. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and compliance within a licensed STRTP or Shelter Care program
- Supervise and train Mental Health Workers (MHWs) and Leads
- Ensure detailed, high-quality case documentation in electronic health records (EHR)
- Provide therapeutic support, behavioral interventions, and crisis management
- Coordinate intakes, discharges, and treatment planning meetings
- Support youth in education, daily living skills, and community reintegration
- Manage incident reporting and maintain compliance with CDSS and DHCS licensing
- Serve as a liaison between the program and licensing agencies
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance
What We’re Looking For
- Associate’s degree (or higher) in a related field and at least 2 years of experience working with children/youth in a mental health setting
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a residential or similar milieu setting
- STRTP Administrator Certificate (or willingness to obtain with agency support)
- Strong leadership and crisis intervention skills (CPI and Ukeru training provided)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and electronic health records
- Valid California Driver’s License
- Ability to pass background checks, physical exam, and TB screening
