Job Description:
Metro Prep High School, Grade School and Laureate Day School have been educating and supporting students with special needs for over 25 years supported by FGC. Using a multidisciplinary approach, Metro Prep and Laureate Day School provides educational and therapeutic learning opportunities in a small, nurturing environment. This allows our staff to tailor each student’s program to meet his or her individual needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains clinical responsibility for a caseload of 5 students and their families.
- Conducts individual psychotherapy on a weekly basis as designed on the IEP.
- Conducts family therapy sessions as needed.
- Facilitates and/or co-facilitates scheduled therapeutic groups.
- Collaborates with co-workers in the implementation of the IEP.
- Maintains clinical documentation of clinical work:
- Weekly progress notes.
- Quarterly progress notes
- Incident reports as needed.
- Therapeutic summaries as needed.
- Attends district staffing as required.
- Implements school disciplinary procedures as necessary.
- Attends all required staff meetings and in-services.
- Meets weekly with the Clinical Director in supervision.
- Participates in weekly Case Conference Presentation.
- Participates in the shared duties and responsibilities necessary to the functioning of the milieu and school community as specified by administration.
- Updates progress on IEP quarterly or as needed.
- Completes written report on student’s progress quarterly or as needed.
- Assists staff in crisis intervention and physical management as needed.
- Chaperones field trips as needed.
Schedule: Hours needed to accommodate school's requirements
Start Date: Tuesday, August 5th 2025
Pay: $2,000 stipend

Experience and Skills:
Qualifications: Enrolled in Master’s degree or Doctoral Degree program in Psychology, Social Work or related field. Supervisor with Appropriate licensure.
