About the Role
We are growing and need talented Sanitation Technicians to join our team. As a key team member, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the factory facility, equipment, and public areas, prioritizing personnel and food safety at all times.
Responsibilities
- Clean food manufacturing production equipment effectively.
- Inspect equipment for conformity to federal and state sanitation laws and plant standards.
- Clean specific pieces of equipment by tearing down, cleaning with appropriate chemicals, and re-assembling equipment.
- Perform inspections on cleaned equipment to verify effectiveness.
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
- Maintain all areas of the Plant, including Depositing and Packing.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in sanitation or a related field is preferred.
- Able to operate cleaning equipment and manage time safely without damage.
- Able to work with pressure washers, floor scrubbers, sanitizing chemicals, Forklift, scissor lift, etc.
- Experience working in a GMP environment doing manufacturing or sanitation is required.
- Familiarity with chemical usage in a Food Manufacturing facility is essential.
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs, stand on feet for shifts, and be physically active while working on ladders or heights.
- Knowledgeable about proper Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) use for chemical usage.
