Maintenance Operations Supervisor

Key Responsibilities :
Assist in hiring and training team members, ensuring compliance with safety training; oversee evaluations, enforce company policies, and manage work schedules.Manage the implementation and operation of an inventory and Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedule.Schedule team members in alignment with work requirements.Supervise multiple shifts, overseeing maintenance technicians, parts personnel, and maintenance crew leaders.Collaborate closely with production leadership and other departments to enhance overall production efficiency.Manage activities in the Maintenance Shop effectively.Identify opportunities for new equipment and perform installations or reconfigurations of production lines as necessary.Oversee the daily work and attendance management of maintenance team members.Establish and enforce departmental policies, safety protocols, regulations, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Identify areas for improvement and recommend cost-effective, safe solutions.Set priorities for the maintenance department based on skills assessments and training opportunities.Drive continuous improvements in operations by addressing production inefficiencies with appropriate corrective actions.Act as a backup to the Maintenance Site Leader to ensure compliance with food safety and quality expectations set by regulators or customers.Be prepared for shifts and location changes as dictated by management needs.Requirements :
Minimum of 5 years of experience in food manufacturing is required.At least 3 years in a leadership role is preferred.Availability for weekends and extended hours is essential.Proven ability to supervise skilled workers and extensive experience in plant operations.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are crucial.Strong troubleshooting skills and technical knowledge regarding production equipment, mechanical and electrical systems, and computer operations, with the ability to motivate maintenance personnel under pressure.The Maintenance Operations Supervisor should be adept at coordinating multiple projects and generating ideas that lead to cost reduction and improved work processes.Working at FGF Brands never has a dull moment!
