About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead PK-12 education projects from concept through construction, ensuring that client expectations, budgets, and schedules are met with the highest level of service. This role is ideal for professionals with 10 years of experience who are passionate about educational design, stakeholder engagement, and project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all phases of PK-12 education projects, including planning, design, documentation, and construction administration.
- Develop strong relationships with school districts, administrators, and community stakeholders to understand and respond to their needs.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, and quality control to ensure timely and cost-effective execution.
- Collaborate with educators and district leaders to develop learning environments that support modern teaching methods, technology integration, and flexible space design.
- Manage and mentor project team members, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national building codes and accessibility standards.
- Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and contractors to maintain seamless project workflow.
- Support business development efforts, including responding to RFQs, RFPs, and participating in interviews for new school projects.
Qualifications & Skills
- 10 years of experience in architecture, with a proven track record in managing PK-12 education projects.
- Architectural licensure required.
- Professional degree in architecture from an accredited program.
- Strong understanding of educational design principles, including flexible learning environments, sustainable building practices, and school safety considerations.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities.
- Proficiency in Revit Architecture and project management software.
- LEED accreditation preferred.
