FGM is revolutionizing metal transactions with a platform-centric approach, blending physical distribution, risk management, and pricing optimization to enhance competitiveness for our stakeholders.

Role Overview :

We are seeking an energetic and results-oriented individual to join our team as a Territory Sales Manager. This role is responsible for qualifying leads, managing customer relations, and achieving sales targets within the Architectural division. This role requires a self-driven, strategic individual capable of working independently and fostering strong relationships with customers.

Responsibilities :

  • Find new opportunities and build relationships with people in your territory through networking, your existing customer contacts, cold-calling, and referrals
  • Own the entire sales cycle including lead generation, negotiation, closing, account management, and future opportunities
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets for both revenue and profit by using consultative and solution-based techniques
  • Collaborate with leadership, pricing, procurement, PMs, operations, and production to ensure a smooth delivery & a satisfied customer
  • Document your efforts in our CRM, participate in sales trainings, and attend company meetings
  • Travel 50-65% within the territory to meet your customers & customer groups onsite and better understand needs, gather information, and prepare proposals or presentations

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree AND 2 years B2B sales experience; OR 5 years B2B sales experience
  • Experience in Building Materials preferred; Similar industries (construction, architectural services, metals, etc.)
  • Ability to read, and comprehend contracts, diagrams, construction drawings, building plans,
  • Strong written and verbal skills along with proficiency using MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and CRM systems
  • Comfortability walking long distances and lifting / moving items ranging from 25-50 lbs.
