The Position:
We are seeking an Associate, Media Planning & Placement to be based in our Washington, D.C. office. This entry-level role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a passion for digital media, strong analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This is a hybrid role with an expectation of at least 3 days/week expected in-person in our Washington D.C. office.

District of Columbia Salary Range
$70,000—$70,000 USD

Responsibilities:
- Support senior team members in developing innovative advertising campaign strategies and comprehensive media plans.
- Collaborate with external vendors to ensure timely delivery of media plans, creative assets, and performance data.
- Partner with FGS Global’s Creative, Analytics, and Client teams to support campaign production, setup, and execution.
- Oversee day-to-day management of digital and social media buys, including performance monitoring, reporting, and optimization.
- Work closely with finance staff to manage invoices, reconcile vendor bills, and ensure accurate budget tracking.
- Conduct foundational research to inform campaign strategies and write concise, data-driven reports.
- Provide organizational and administrative support to ensure seamless team operations.
- Bachelor’s degree required in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field.
- 1 years of relevant internship or work experience in media, marketing, or advertising is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, Teams) required.
- Strong interest in all aspects of digital media, advertising, and emerging platforms.
- Exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving, and data analysis skills, with an eye for detail.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Familiarity with digital advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with experience in creating clear, concise reports and presentations.
- Collaborative mindset with excellent project management and time management skills.
