Job Description:
Provide customer network architecture design and engineering services in response to requirements for integration, testing and management of DoD and Intelligence Community (IC) information systems.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop network architecture design solutions based on client requirements.
- Implement, modify and test approved network designs
- Orchestrate cross-functional teams to develop standards-compliant product offerings supporting client requirements and budget constraints.
- Provide capability expansion solutions, assist with implementation.
- Explore cost-saving and streamlining initiatives by modeling cloud infrastructure migration solutions
- Interface with internal and external organizations to resolve system configurations, integration problems, and other issues
Required Qualifications
- 15 years of enterprise-level information systems engineering experience
- CompTIA Security / DoD 8570
- 10 years of team-oriented, solutions development proficiency in response to requirements-based objectives
- Expertise in the design and integration of diverse information technology disciplines
- Possess Senior leadership qualities to include:
- Effectively communicate in verbal and written formats
- Work unsupervised, independently or as part of a team
- Ability to work effectively with sponsors, customers, subordinates, users
- Multi-task among numerous projects
Desired Qualifications
- DoD 8570 IAM Level II compliant certification
- Depth in Cisco Systems product line design and configuration experience:
- Advanced support for route and switch architectures leveraging SDN
- Identity Services Engine (ISE)
- Wireless architecture and security
- Virtualization and Storage
- Optical Transport
- Streaming solutions
Education Requirements:
- Bachelors of Science (Information Technology-related discipline) or equivalent experience (8 years minimum)
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Top Secret/SCI
Travel:
- CONUS/OCONUS Travel may be required. Approx. 25%
Physical Requirements:
