Job Description:
Cybersecurity Tools SME – Splunk/Forescout/SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation Responses) will assist in the management of Cybersecurity related tools leveraged by M26/Intelligence Enterprise Management Office ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, networks, and data supporting the planning, analysis, development, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of information systems security programs, Network/Hardware/Software compliance and authorization, Information Security Policies and procedures, and network security tools.

Job Description:
Cybersecurity Tools SME – Splunk/Forescout/SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation Responses) will assist in the management of Cybersecurity related tools leveraged by M26/Intelligence Enterprise Management Office ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, networks, and data supporting the planning, analysis, development, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of information systems security programs, Network/Hardware/Software compliance and authorization, Information Security Policies and procedures, and network security tools.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Will work as part of a Cybersecurity team focused on continuous monitoring, cybersecurity tools, incident management, and Assessment and Authorization and will work with the Senior Splunk engineer to maintain and develop M26/IEMO’s Splunk instance and associated SOAR playbooks and workflows as directed by government requirements.
- Will work with the Senior Forescout engineer to develop and maintain M26/IEMO’s Forescout.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Meet DoD 8570 requirements to include recent certification or training in Splunk and SOAR.
- At least 3 years of experience in Cybersecurity Tools with additional experience in Incident Management, ACAS, or HBSS/ESS/Trellix preferred.
- Minimum 3 years recent experience developing and maintaining Splunk in a corporate or enterprise environment to include generating and providing reports and dashboards as well as building and maintaining the backend infrastructure including installation, upgrading, configuration, and patching.
- Minimum 3 years recent experience developing and maintaining SOAR playbooks in a corporate or enterprise environment to include generating and providing reports and dashboards.
- Minimum 1 year recent experience developing and maintaining Forescout Comply to Connect infrastructure in a corporate or enterprise to include development, installation, upgrading, maintenance, configuration, and patching.
