Job Description
- Demonstrates strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex issues with Windows 10/11 in an Enterprise Active Directory environment
- Administers user and workstation accounts in various systems, including Active Directory, Office365, HCM, Okta, Kronos, and Azure AD
- Installs, maintains, and supports PC infrastructure, including hardware and software
- Assists customers with hardware and software problems and requests
- Creates and maintains all incidents and requests in the ticketing system
- Responsible for organizing IT hardware, software, and other IT-related equipment in the Asset Management system
- Manages inventory and track supply needs for IT equipment
- Installs, maintains and supports end-user policies, hardware, and third-party applications through Azure Intune
- Organizes and maintains the MDM environment
- Develops expertise to train non-technical staff on new technologies
- Ability to conduct and direct research on IT issues
- Effectively documents all processes and updates current technical articles
- Strong Technical knowledge and experience in Windows 10 and Windows 11, Microsoft Professional Suite, O365 services such as Entra, Intune, and Auto Pilot
- Experience with Active Directory, group policies, and end-user account management in a hybrid environment.
- Experience with remote desktop and support tools
- ITSM/Ticketing System experience – FreshService preferred
- PowerShell Scripting automation knowledge is preferred
- Chromebook MDM deployment and maintenance preferred
- Knowledge of IT Security concepts and practice related to applications, laptops, and desktops
- Basic knowledge of Cloud hosting, computing, and storage solutions (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Familiarity with networking concepts
- 2-5 years of professional IT experience
- BS in Computer Science or Equivalent preferred
- Entry-level IT Certification (A , Net , Sec , etc.)
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills – both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects
- Strong customer service focus and problem-solving skills
- Ability to be proactive by staying current with new technologies
- Required to sit for long periods of time with limited physical exertion. Use of standard office equipment in typical office environments/conditions.
- Ability to use close and distance vision to focus on the computer screen for most of the workday.
- Ability to bend, lift, twist, pull and push boxes and/or equipment to handle and set up computer hardware, servers, etc.
- This is a full-time position with a normal work week of Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m., with some flexibility allowed based on department needs and management approval.
- This is an exempt-level position that requires the ability to work varied hours to accommodate operational needs and the use of independent judgment and discretion in decision-making consistent with FHI’s Purpose, Vision, and Values.
- Minimal travel 10%
- Ability to be on call when needed
