General Summary:

Cincinnati is looking for a Treasury Intern to join our team. As a Treasury
Intern you will gain valuable real-world experience through projects and daily
tasks, while gaining exposure from the senior leadership level. The Treasury
intern researches and assists with Treasury department processes and analysis as well as
pursues new ideas and methods to improve department efficiency and data
management practices.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Researches and assists with Treasury department processes by facilitating operational tasks while seeking opportunities for improvement or redesign.
- Researches and assists with Treasury department data management practices by gathering and refining metadata, updating the data dictionary, and performing data quality assessments.
- Aids in the development of management dashboards and presentations.
- Assists with dealer interactions while handling market information.
- Participates in a large group project with interns from other departments.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of fixed income investment concepts at a level normally acquired through collegiate level finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, or quantitative analysis coursework.
- Effective verbal and written communications skills including interpersonal skills necessary to interact with internal and external contacts.
- Analytical and communication skills necessary to develop management reports and present findings to department staff.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software is required.
- Bloomberg knowledge/coding language are a plus.
