We help clients succeed by applying our core strengths in Data, Analytics, Modeling, and Technology to gain insight into performance, manage risk, and improve operations.

We seek to hire a highly motivated manager to lead client engagement teams, work with a wide variety of client executives, and lead business development activities on priority accounts.

This role requires a current Public Trust clearance with the US Department of the Treasury.  Reciprocity may be considered for some other active agency clearances but not guaranteed.

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Lead a portfolio of client engagements. Drive high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget. Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes. Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business.
  • Effectively lead and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds. Provide constructive on-the-job feedback / coaching to team members. Foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment. Play an active role in counseling and mentoring junior consultants within the firm.
  • Generate new business opportunities. Understand FI Consulting and our service lines and actively seek out ways to serve clients. Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and networks.
  • Demonstrate deep technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Demonstrate ability to quickly assimilate new knowledge. Possess in depth business acumen. Remain current on new developments in the firm’s services capabilities and industry knowledge.
  • Secure and protect company and client data and information and prevent its improper disclosure.
  • Understand and apply information security policies for projects or work under your management
  • Develop information management plans for your projects and communicate them to your team.
  • Ensure team members under your direction follow through and manage information in accordance with company policy.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelors or Masters in Economics, Finance, Math, Computer Science, or applicable quantitative or technical field
  • Eight years of related experience, experience with federal management consulting
  • Four years of management experience, with responsibilities that include leading teams,  delivering analytical results, and managing relationships with stakeholders
  • Prior experience in banking, capital markets or treasury
  • Experience overseeing the development, testing, and management of credit models, or data / analytical technology
  • Strong analytical background and advanced level skill with one or more of the following :  R, Python, SQL, and VBA
  • Demonstrated ability to understand complex data and business processes
  • Experience leading design of technical solutions a plus
  • Prior Consulting experience is required
  • Advanced degree, CFA, FRM or other qualifications are desired
  • Authorization for permanent employment in the U.S.

    This is a salaried position.  As a condition of employment with FI Consulting all job applicants will be required to successfully complete a background investigation, which may also include a pre-employment drug screen and / or a credit check.

    Security Requirements :  U.S. Department of Treasury clearance preferred.  Authorized to work in the United States as a US Citizen.  Due to client security measures we are not able to accept permanent resident or sponsor or accept any VISA Holders at this time including H1B, EAD or OPT.
