Position Summary
The CPA will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring accurate and timely financial data. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Active CPA license in state of WI or 5 years' relevant work experience.
- Proven experience in accounting, auditing, and financial analysis.
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations, GAAP, and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and other financial documents.
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
- Conduct audits of financial transactions and records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Analyze financial data to provide strategic insights and recommendations to management.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Ensure timely filing of all federal, state, and local taxes.
- Assist with financial risk management and internal controls.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
