About the Role:
We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join our Tech Operations team. This position will support our Windows and Linux systems, networking, and client applications in our rapidly expanding environments, consisting of data centers, clouds, and office locations. This role will support our systems and infrastructure spanning across all environments along with working on various improvement initiatives and infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities:
FIA Tech’s Infrastructure Engineers are subject matter experts and the front-line support, maintenance, and designers of our systems, infrastructure, networks and users.
The successful candidate should have 5 years of technical support, systems engineering and networking experience.

- In-depth knowledge of AWS infrastructure in a large organization model across multiple regions
- Manage distributed Active Directory infrastructure in a multi-Forest environment.
- Advanced Linux and Windows support and management.
- Storage Infrastructure design and management in a mirrored across multiple regions. (SAN, NAS)
- Client facing connectivity onboarding and troubleshooting.
- In-depth knowledge of firewall management and deployment (Palo Alto, Cisco or Fortinet, etc).
- Working knowledge of modern networking infrastructure fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, NAT, etc).
- Design and support of multi-region AWS Workspaces for end user access and connectivity.
- Deep understanding and experience of scripting languages (batch, PowerShell, etc.).
- Productivity and process improvements by scripting and automation.
- Ability to communicate both cross-department and well as customer facing.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Zendesk, LucidChart for ticket tracking, documentation, and client communications.
- High level of expertise in Excel for efficient reporting and tracking of project related activities,
- Provide end user and client support and participate in On-call shifts.
- Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure to support business applications.
- Monitor, identify and remediate network and systems issues
- Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team
- Certifications a Plus: AWS, Palo Alto, Cisco, Microsoft
