What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist/Front Desk Associate position at FIAO Il Centro?
RECEPTIONIST/FRONT DESK ASSOCIATE
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain surveillance of members in the facility by utilizing security cameras.
- Ensure all members are checked into the facility correctly upon entry in Operations and Group Ex Pro. Non-members should sign in and be directed appropriately.
- Act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of members in the event of an emergency as well as notify supervisor of any such instances
- Present a professional appearance by maintaining business casual attire and maintain a positive attitude at all times. (Smile, Good Morning, Good Evening, how can I help you? etc.)
- Maintain a high standard of customer service by making the needs of the client of the utmost importance by exhibiting good listening skills and remaining calm during strenuous situations. (Call a supervisor for assistance if necessary)
- Attend mandatory meetings and training sessions as scheduled.
- Maintain a clean reception area by performing house-cleaning duties such as wiping down the desk area and throwing out garbage.
- Signs members and non-members into building and direct to correct areas of facility as they enter the facility.
- Provide correct information to all members and non-members and if unaware of correct information contact supervisor to receive it.
- Responsible for the safety of members & guests. (If you see something, say something)
- Begin and end work on time.
- All other duties as assigned and appropriate.
- Walkie must be with you. One will be located at the front desk.
- Knowledge of key workers and what they handle in case any members/non-members have questions or concerns.

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)

- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
