Fiat Family Medicine is an independant family medicine clinic in Waterloo, IA. We are professional, agile and our goal is to provide full-spectrum care from conception to natural death, caring for infants, children and adult medicine patients, as well as prenatal care through a faith-based, natural law approach.
We are looking for a loving, compassionate and motivated individual (nurse or medical assistant) to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for providing primary healthcare to patients while they are in the clinic and will be responsible for managing the treatment of the patient typical of a family medicine setting. The right candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional healthcare services, as well as strong communication skills, solid analytical skills, and an ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Provide medical care to patients in the clinic (including direct patient care, referrals, PAs, scheduling, etc...)
- Record symptoms, medical history, surgical history, social history and medications of patients.
- Provide health education to patients.
- Counsel patients about factors that influence health and quality of life.
- Communicate with health care providers about patient status.
- Connect with patients by building trusting relationships and seeing each person as an individual.
