Fiber Network Services Inc is seeking an experienced Aerial Fiber Optic Installation Specialist to join our team in Brilliant, OH. This position involves aerial construction of HFC outside plant projects, including fiber/coax installation, and requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Aerial Fiber / Coax construction experience
- Ability to read HFC maps / prints to understand project scope
- Climbing poles, utilizing Gaffs, Ladder and a Bucket Truck to perform work where required
- Maintain visual and vocal contact with other crew members as well as all moving or stationary people, vehicles, and objects in order to guarantee safe movement coordination
- Recognize and enforce Safe working environments in Public Right-of-Way environments to include worksite traffic-control best practices
- Produce accurate post-construction as-built mark-up maps through red-lined PDF files
- Provide daily production reports via email/excel or additional tracking methods
- Maintaining aerial specifications when placing overhead lines
