Fiber Network Services Inc is seeking an experienced HFC Outside Plant Field Engineer to join our team in Brilliant, OH. The ideal candidate will have experience in aerial fiber/coax construction and be able to work effectively in a team environment. The role involves ensuring that all HFC outside plant projects are completed safely and efficiently, while meeting the company's quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Aerial Fiber / Coax construction experience
- Ability to read HFC maps / prints to understand project scope
- Climbing poles, utilizing Gaffs, Ladder and a Bucket Truck to perform work where required
- Maintain visual and vocal contact with other crew members as well as all moving or stationary people, vehicles, and objects in order to guarantee safe movement coordination
- Recognize and enforce Safe working environments in Public Right-of-Way environments to include worksite traffic-control best practices
- Produce accurate post-construction as-built mark-up maps through red-lined PDF files
- Provide daily production reports via email/excel or additional tracking methods
