Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Actively pursue revenue objectives generated from selling FiberFirst services to their defined user base of small, medium, and enterprise-sized businesses.
- Maintain a personal book of business with a 3-month funnel of prospects.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism as a representative of FiberFirst in the business community during all phases of customer contact, from pre-sales activity to post-sales account management.
- Prospect for new business and sales opportunities through cold and warm lead generation.
- Conduct sales presentations demonstrating FiberFirst solutions to meet a customer’s specific telecommunications need.
- Be responsible for meeting or exceeding monthly sales objectives.
- Provide customers with the highest standard of customer service throughout the sales cycle.
- Resolve customer inquiries and ensure customer satisfaction is met.
- Implement and maintain internal policies and procedures.
Education and / or Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of two years of experience working in sales.
- Minimum of two years of experience working in telecommunications.
Required Skills / Abilities:
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Positive, winning attitude, strong work ethic, and teamwork
- Track record for having good punctuality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter and driven to win
- Ability to work independently under little to no supervision
- Ability to multi-task and work on numerous projects at once
- Customer-first mindset: going above and beyond to ensure customers are taken care of
- Exceptional time management and organization skills
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and oral presentation skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license and have access to reliable transportation for work-related travel, as this position may require site visits.

- Travel: Ability to travel approximately 10% of time.
- Work Environment: The work environment is an office-based and site visit driven role to achieve monthly sales quotas and goals. Regular, frequent office time and prospecting in the field are expected. The employee may be exposed to varying temperatures and weather conditions. The employee will be expected to attend community networking events and support the Omaha market needs at events as assigned.
