Fiberglass Coatings is the largest independently owned composites distributor in Florida, serving thousands of customers in diverse industries ranging from marine to amusement to construction, and everything in between. We have multiple locations with over 100 employees, 300,000 square feet of warehousing, and a fleet of delivery trucks.
Local CDL A Driver with HazMat endorsement
Part Time
Monday - Friday, 1p to 6p
Starting rate of pay is $24/hr
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer truck to deliver products or render services.
- Load and unload cargo to commercial customers
- Properly track and document activity log
- Report any issues or incidents.
- Inspect truck before and after trip.
- Provide excellent customer service to our customers.
- Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery.
- Cleans inside of truck.
- Performs routine maintenance on truck.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Clean Class A Drivers’ License
- Hazmat Endorsement Required
- Minimum two years of driving experience.
- Previous experience transporting hazardous materials (preferred)
- Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours and lift heavy objects.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong work ethic, self-motivated and detail oriented
