We are looking for a Showroom Manager to lead our St. Pete retail showroom, focusing on sales growth, customer satisfaction, and team development. This role is perfect for someone who is hands-on, customer-driven, and experienced in composites or related industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the showroom, ensuring a professional, welcoming, and customer-focused environment.
- Supervise, train, and motivate retail sales associates to achieve sales goals and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Maintain product displays, inventory levels, and store organization in alignment with company standards.
- Work directly with customers to provide product knowledge, recommendations, and solutions for their composite project needs.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, team productivity, and showroom metrics to management.
- Collaborate with purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure stock availability and timely customer fulfillment.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations with professionalism and a solution-oriented approach.
- Oversee and coordinate sales promotion activities, including the creation and supervision of merchandise displays and advertising efforts.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies to ensure profitability while maintaining competitive market positioning.
- Reconcile cash transactions with sales receipts and maintain accurate daily financial records.
- Ensure employee adherence to company policies and procedures to maintain operational efficiency and compliance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications
- 3 years recent retail management experience required, including supervising and developing sales teams.
- Industry experience preferred — familiarity with composites, fiberglass, resins, or marine/automotive repair materials.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a hands-on management style.
- Ability to build relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
