Job Description
Leads PE team to inspect and stack finished product as specified at the final stage of the production process.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
Inspects boards to required quality standards (visual & dimensional).
Uses tape measures to measure the quality of our products.
Reads and follows QA inspection instructions to insure we are producing a quality product.
Assists in proper training for all new stackers.
Reviews work of other stackers and provides feedback to supervisors regarding work performance.
Notifies the Operator immediately if Quality issues exist by turning on the blue light.
Reads the Production Work Order and labels product accordingly.
Packs and/or warps product to required packing guidelines, where applicable.
Reports production, both good and scrap boards, using required inspection form.
Maintains a clean work area.
Assists extrusion operators and other stackers in meeting shift’s production schedule as required by supervisor.
Performs assigned tasks in a safe manner.
Completes Other Assignments As Required By The Shift Supervisor.
Adheres to Fiberon's safety guidelines.
Other duties may be assigned.
Additional Responsibilities
Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as scheduled.
Wears proper PPE when and where required.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
Less than high school education; or up to two years month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in assembly or manufacturing is desirable; however, on the job training is typical for this position.
Previous quality inspection experience in a continuous production environment, a plus.
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Ability to read, interpret and complete production schedules and inspection forms.
Ability to work 12 hour shifts.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand (extended periods of time);
use hands to handle, or feel, and reach/lift with hands and arms.
The employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; stoop, kneel, bend over, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to cold, hot wet and/or humid
factory conditions; moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually
moderate to high (Hearing Protection required.)
