Controller

FiberPro, LLC is the leader in woodyard handling and processing technology. Our team has designed some of the highest production woodyards in the US as well as specialty applications for customized solutions for over 25 years. Our goal is to provide value driven solutions with a focus on safety, reliability and efficiency; adding value to the bottom line safely. FiberPro has a wide range of woodyard products to suit any application, low speed specialty to develop to the highest speeds in the industry, softwood to hardwood, in sawmills, chip plants, veneer plants, OSB mills and more.

FiberPro, located in Hot Springs, AR is seeking a Controller. We want a leader who will be responsible for all aspects of the company accounting, including AR/AP and payroll.

Essential Functions

· Account Reconciliation

· Project-Based Invoicing

· Prepare Financial Statements

· Payroll Processing

· Inventory Management

· Annual Budgeting

· Work with other departments, as required, to streamline processes.

· Other Accounting Duties as Needed

Competencies

· Excellent interpersonal skills, collaborative management and work style, and written and verbal communications.

· Strong analytical and abstract reasoning; highly skilled creating reports and metrics using Excel, Crystal Reports, and SQL. Knowledge of Global Shop Solutions or other ERP would be a plus.

· Impeccable attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Must be flexible/adaptable; willing to learn new systems.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position does not currently have any direct reports.

Work Environment

This position operates in a professional, 2-story office environment. Office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, scanners, filing cabinets, etc. will be used.

Physical Demands

Travel

Not required but may be less than 10%.

Education and Experience Qualifications

· Minimum 10 years' senior level accounting experience.

· Bachelor’s degree is required; CPA or Master's degree is preferred.

· Experience working within a manufacturing facility is preferred.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Pre-Employment drug screening, pre-employment background, credit and MVR checks are required and must be passed, no exceptions.
