Job Summary:
If you’re excited to finish innovative composite parts and be a part of a team of people whose goal is to produce high-quality molds that exceed our customer expectations then our Mold Repair Department needs you!
Job Role:
- Manually sand and refinish composite molds to work instructions
- Utilize adhesives to repair surface finish
- Ensure compliance with procedures to protect the integrity of high-value customer molds
- Advise management of any major defects that could affect the final product finish
- Advise management of best manufacturing practices
- Must adhere to health and safety procedures, and all workplace policies
- Other responsibilities as assigned
What You Will Bring to the Team:
- Minimum High school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent
- Auto body prep experience is preferred
- Attention to detail and a high degree of visual acuity
- Must have excellent verbal and communication skills
- Must be able to use small hand tools, sanders, drills, adhesive applicators, calipers, gauges, and other measuring devices
- Must be willing to work well under pressure as part of a strong team
- Have a can-do, positive attitude
- Exemplary attendance
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; looks for ways to improve and promote quality, monitors own work to ensure quality and applies feedback
- Understands, works within, and contributes to the continuous improvement of safety, health, and environment requirements; adheres to all safety policies, reports safety and risk hazards
- Follows instructions, responds to management direction and completes tasks on time at the expected level of performance
- Is organized and able to prioritize and respond in a timely manner
- Adapts to changes in the work environment and production schedules
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
