Description
FIC America Corp. is a global Tier 1 automotive components manufacturer centrally located in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. We are actively seeking a Manufacturing Welding Team Leader to coordinate the production, welding, and activities under the direction of the Supervisor. This position involves coordinating the team members who operate a welding machine by placing automotive parts into a machine to be welded automatically. No welding experience is necessary.
Essential Job Functions
- Oversee activities of production employees under the direction of the Supervisor
- Plan and maintain work schedules, assignments, and production sequences
- Direct and assign tasks and duties under the direction of the Supervisor
- Train and develop team members to perform job duties according to company procedures and policies for safety and accuracy
- Interpret work orders, specifications, and company policies and procedures for employees
- Assist with and perform work activities as necessary to maintain work flow
- Enforce safety and sanitation regulations
- Assist with evaluating of employees performance with Supervisors
- Address reports from employees, and report them to Supervisors and Managers
- Follow standard work instructions
- Perform other duties assigned

Pay Range $18 / hour - $24 / hour, based on qualifications and experience
Additional Compensation We operate two shifts and 2nd Shift employees are given a $1 / hour shift differential
