Fair Isaac Corporation seeks a full-time Pre-Sales - Sr. Principal Consultant. Telecommuting available from anywhere in US. HQ at Bozeman, MT. The primary duty of the Pre-Sales-Sr. Principal Consultant is to serve as a key technical resource to the sales team ensuring that FICO is proposing the optimal solution to best meet customer needs. This position is responsible for making customers and prospects understand the value of using FICO and its products, through passionate presentations, demonstrations, discussions, and proof of concepts. Specific duties include: 1) Lead and participate in presentations, demonstrations, and proof of concepts to show FICO Platform capabilities. This includes optimization use cases, business rules, analytics (including machine learning models using Python and R languages). 2) Develop optimization projects using FICO Xpress Mosel language. Such projects will be used during Pres Sales Life Cycle. 3) Conduct discovery sessions with clients to understand their current business challenges and growth strategies. 4) Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understand client needs, challenges, and goals, and develop tailored technical solutions to address these. 5) Maintain an in-depth understanding of our products and stay up to date with industry trends and advancements to effectively communicate their value proposition to clients. 6) Work with multiple teams to design product and service solutions to meet client's business needs. This position requires travel (domestic) up to 20% of the time. May telecommute from any location in the U.S. HQ at Bozeman, MT.
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. This position requires 7 years of related progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in Presales, Sales Engineer, or Solution Architecture roles. Must also have 5 years of experience (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: 1) Working in pre-sales consulting role supporting sales and/or delivering creative solution that adds value to the client's business objectives, and applying knowledge of PaaS (Platform-as-a-Service) and SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) industry. 2) Developing large-scale optimization models and algorithms (mathematical programing). 3) Experience with programming and optimization languages C/C , Python, SAS and mathematical solvers (IBM Cplex, Gurobi, SAS,and Matlab). 4) Working with credit decisioning optimization use cases, retail banking (Customer management, Account Management, Collection, Cross Sell/Upsell, Application and Transactional Fraud). 5) Working with customers that had Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) projects. 6) Developing projects on programming languages including Python and R. All experience may have been gained concurrently. Experience must have been acquired after completion of the Bachelor’s Degree program. This position requires travel (domestic) up to 20% of the time.
