Fair Isaac Corporation seeks a full-time Solution Consulting-Principal Consultant. Telecommuting available from anywhere in US. HQ at Bozeman, MT. The primary responsibility of the Solution Consulting-Principal Consultant is to be an integral part of the technical team responsible for implementation of FICO Solutions comprised of FICO products and customized platform solutions. This position is responsible for solution architecting, solution delivery, business requirement scoping, project estimation, implementation leadership, and solution validation for large scale financial institutions. Specific duties include the following: 1) Fraud solution design for complex, large-scale, and strategic projects as it relates to Account onboarding and Financial transactions within the Banking Industry for both debit/credit markets, and real-time wire transfers. 2) Serve as technical expert for clients in program/project system architecture by ensuring there are no gaps or inconsistencies in the initial system architecture and that none emerge as the system is designed, built and/or enhanced over time. 3) Lead a project team of technologists, as well as working with customer teams of IT and business teams to gather requirements and ultimately implement Fraud detection solutions within both the Account onboarding and Financial transaction domains. 4) Understand integration of various technical platforms, use industry scenarios to select the architecture, technology and /or products to align the priorities of IT with the business and provide the business solution across all domains. Ensure the technical integrity and quality of the custom developed solutions. 5) Utilize delivery technologies, specifically as they pertain to high throughput transactional and/or large volume data transaction solutions. 6) Analyze and document customer requirements and produce high-level functional documentation and technical designs. 7) Apply knowledge of software architecture principles and methodologies, including technical infrastructure and software architecture knowledge with deep understanding of Solution delivery specific to Transaction Fraud, and Application Fraud offerings for Financial Institutions. 8) Translate and present complex technical data to non-technical personnel internally and with customers. 9) Implement solution design experience for portal services, directory and identity services, collaboration tools, AWS/Cloud, networking solutions. 10) Collaborate with peers to productize solutions, enabling a mass customization operational approach to future opportunities. Domestic travel required up to 25% of the time. May telecommute from any location in the U.S. HQ at Bozeman, MT.
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Science, Engineering, or a related field and 10 years of related progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in management and solution consulting with deep knowledge in fraud banking and banking transaction lifecycle. Must also have 5 years of experience (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: 1) Fraud solution design for complex, large-scale, and strategic projects as it relates to Account onboarding and Financial transactions within the Banking Industry for both debit/credit markets, and real-time wire transfers. 2) Applying knowledge of software architecture principles and methodologies, including technical infrastructure and software architecture knowledge with deep understanding of Solution delivery specific to Transaction Fraud, and Application Fraud offerings for Financial Institutions. 3) Leading a project team of technologists, as well as working with customer teams of IT and business teams to gather requirements and ultimately implement Fraud detection solutions within both the Account onboarding and Financial transaction domains. 4) Utilizing delivery technologies, specifically as they pertain to high throughput transactional and/or large volume data transaction solutions. 5) Solution architecting, solution delivery, business requirement scoping, project estimation, implementation leadership, and solution validation for large scale financial institutions.
