Job Title: ICU / LTAC RN (13-Week Contract)
Location: Louisville, Kentucky
12-hour night shifts (19:00-07:00, 3x12 schedule).
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of current ICU RN experience.
- Valid Kentucky RN license (Compact license is accepted).
- Current AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Current AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- Valid driver’s license.
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate ICU / LTAC Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract position in Louisville, Kentucky. This role will offer you the opportunity to work in both ICU and LTAC settings, with the possibility of floating to Telemetry or a sister facility based on census needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care to ICU and LTAC patients, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and comfort.
- Float to Telemetry or LTAC units as needed, depending on census.
- If required, float to a sister facility within a reasonable distance to provide support during high-demand periods.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans for critically ill patients.
- Monitor patients' conditions closely, providing interventions and making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the hospital’s EMR system.
