What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cardiac Cath Lab Tech position at Fidé?
Fidé is seeking a skilled and dedicated Cath Lab Technologist to join our dynamic team for a 13-week contract in Tulsa, OK. The Cath Lab Technologist will assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory. This role is essential in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of imaging equipment while assisting physicians during invasive procedures to treat cardiovascular conditions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a focus on patient care, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current 2 years of current Cath Lab Tech experience
- Current ARRT
- Current AHA BLS
- Current AHA ACLS
- Skills Checklist from within the past 12 months
- Drivers License
- EMR Experience (Include years of experience, and systems used)
- Final RTO or any scheduling requests
- Two Supervisory References from the past two years of employment
Unit Information: Responsibilities: Assist with procedures and provide diagnostic aid by conducting organ or body scans on patients. Prepare and position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately. Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations. Observe patient during procedure and report abnormal activity. Monitor protocols and recommend updates or refinements as warranted. Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines. Able to perform all specialized imaging procedures such as angio, complex vascular and nonvascular interventional and therapeutic procedures, along with assisting the Radiologist/PA. Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.
