Position Overview:
As a Sterile Processing Technician, you’ll be responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, and preparing surgical instruments for procedures. With your knowledge of Ortho, Spine, and General/Lap instrumentation, you will ensure that every instrument meets the highest standards of safety and readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sterilize and prepare instruments used in various surgeries, including Ortho, Spine, and General/Lap procedures.
- Inspect, assemble, and store surgical instruments and equipment.
- Maintain detailed records of sterilization cycles and equipment maintenance.
- Ensure all sterilization processes adhere to strict standards and regulations.
- Work closely with surgical teams to ensure instruments are ready for use.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 years of current Sterile Processing experience (required)
- Current NM Sterile Processing License
- Additional certifications may be required
- Skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
- Driver's License (required)
