Responsibilities
" Develop and implement nursing strategies that align with the organization's mission and goals, ensuring quality patient care and operational efficiency
" Lead nursing teams in delivering exceptional patient care through evidence-based practices and innovative approaches
" Collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to optimize resource allocation and improve patient care delivery systems
" Establish and monitor performance metrics to evaluate nursing quality and effectiveness, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
" Foster professional development and mentorship opportunities for nursing staff to enhance skills and promote career advancement
" Drive initiatives to enhance patient safety, satisfaction, and overall clinical outcomes
" Advocate for nursing within the executive leadership team and represent nursing interests in organizational decision-making
Required And Preferred Qualifications Required
" Master's degree in nursing or related field; Doctorate in nursing or health administration preferred
" Current RN licensure and relevant certifications in nursing leadership
" 10 years of progressive nursing leadership experience, including experience in a senior management role
" Demonstrated ability to lead large teams, manage complex projects, and drive change initiatives
" Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality improvement methodologies
Preferred
" Experience in a multi-facility healthcare system or academic medical center
" Track record of successful implementation of nursing practice initiatives that enhance patient care
" Active participation in professional nursing organizations and community health initiatives
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
" Proficient in healthcare management software and electronic health record (EHR) systems
" Experience with data analytics to drive clinical decision-making and performance improvement
" Knowledge of budgeting and financial management in healthcare settings
" Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate nursing staff
" Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders

- Two Supervisory References from the past two years of employment
