Position Overview:
As a CT Technician, you will perform CT scans for patients, contributing to the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of medical conditions. This role involves working with both GE and Canon equipment, so experience with these systems is preferred. You’ll be part of a dedicated imaging team in a pediatric environment, providing essential imaging services for this highly specialized hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT scans for patients, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Utilize GE and Canon CT equipment, ensuring the highest imaging standards.
- Work closely with physicians and other medical staff to obtain necessary images for diagnosis and treatment.
- Document all imaging procedures and patient information accurately in the EMR system.
- Maintain and prepare equipment, ensuring all CT systems are functioning properly.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols, especially important in pediatric imaging.
- Ensure proper patient care and support throughout the imaging process.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of current CT Technician experience.
- Current Kansas CT Tech License
- Current ARRT
- Current AHA BLS
- Driver’s license is required.
