Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 (Days)
Travel Hourly Pay: $25.19
Travel Stipend: $1,246.00
Travel Weekly Package: $2,152.77
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Lander, Wyoming. This position involves delivering critical care in an ICU setting, providing compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients with serious and life-threatening conditions. As an ICU RN, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that patients receive optimal care and support during their stay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting, closely monitoring patients' vital signs and conditions.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered by physicians.
- Perform patient assessments, document clinical data, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
- Respond to emergency situations with confidence and efficiency.
- Support and educate patients and their families about the patient’s condition, treatments, and recovery.
- Adhere to hospital protocols and standards for quality and safety.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to create and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure appropriate patient advocacy and support in critical care situations.
- Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current 1-2 years of recent ICU RN experience.
- Active and valid Wyoming (WY) Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Additional certifications may be required.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), including the number of years of experience and systems used.
- Ability to provide three supervisory references from the past two years of employment.
