Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Interventional Radiology Cardiac Cath Lab Tech to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting with cardiovascular procedures in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and comfort while providing high-quality care. This position requires a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as proficiency in aseptic techniques and vital signs monitoring.
Duties
- Assist physicians during catheterization procedures by preparing the lab and equipment.
- Monitor patients' vital signs before, during, and after procedures to ensure their safety.
- Maintain a sterile environment by adhering to aseptic techniques throughout all procedures.
- Operate radiology equipment to capture images necessary for diagnostic purposes.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient information accurately in compliance with hospital protocols.
- Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions immediately.
- Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated on the latest advancements in cardiology.
Requirements
- Current CCI or ARRT
- Current AHA BLS or willing to obtain by start date
- Cardiac Cath la,- RHC, LHC, EMBX, peripheral cases, PE thromb. Heart failure. Monitor and scrub cases. Merge Hemo is the charting system.
- Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and understanding of vital signs assessment.
- Familiarity with radiology practices and equipment operation.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with medical staff and patients.

- Hours Per Week: 40
- Shift: Days 0700-1530
- Weekend Requirements: Yes
- On Call Requirements: Yes
