Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality care to critically ill pediatric patients with complex medical conditions.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs, administer medications, and operate advanced medical equipment.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide emotional support and education to families during challenging times.
- Respond to emergencies with confidence and expertise, ensuring patient safety.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in North Carolina or compact state licensure.
- Current AHA BLS, AHA PALS and APHON for Oncology
- Experience in pediatric critical care or intensive care preferred.
- Strong critical-thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Will float between NICU and PICU
- Pediatric Oncology Unit
Shift/Pay:
Hours Per Week: 36
Shift: Nights 7p-7a
Weekend Requirements: 6 weekend shifts with 2 being Saturdays
On-Call Requirements: TBD
Travel Hourly Pay: $22.00
Travel Stipend: $1100.00
Travel Weekly Package: $1980.00
Local Hourly Pay: $43.00
Local Weekly Package: $1720.00
