Exciting Locum Opportunity: Nurse Practitioner - West Philadelphia
Actively seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner for a three-month contract in West Philadelphia, PA.

Contract Duration:
Three (3) months to start, with the potential for extension
Shift:
Monday 9AM – 2PM, Tuesday and Thursday 8AM – 3:30PM.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of NP experience, preferably in long-term care, and a minimum of one (1) year working with frail or elderly populations (Required)
- Current ANCC/AANP Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
- Current Pennsylvania license (Required)
- Current AHA BLS
- Current DEA Registration
Position Overview:
In this role, you’ll provide primary medical management in collaboration with Physicians. You’ll be responsible for the clinical care of elderly participants in an innovative, team-oriented environment, ensuring they can live as independently as possible in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Physicians to perform assessments and develop care plans for participants.
- Provide primary care, evaluate physical complaints, and provide appropriate treatment.
- Educate participants and caregivers to promote understanding and support of medical care.
- Be an active member of the Interdisciplinary Team, sharing participant medical information and collaborating on care.
- Provide oversight for the Organization’s clinic and participate in rounds at contracted nursing homes.
- Maintain thorough and accurate participant medical records, ensuring proper documentation in accordance with policies.
Preferred Experience:
- Strong background in geriatrics or working with frail, elderly populations.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and EMR systems (Epic preferred).
