**Responsibilities:**
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and assessing patient condition.
- Utilize trauma medicine and acute care skills to treat patients with various medical conditions, including those with complex needs.
- Participate in specimen collection and processing, as well as catheterization and suturing procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Utilize Epic systems to document patient information and coordinate care.
- Demonstrate a commitment to providing excellent patient care, while also maintaining a safe and clean environment.
- Provide memory care to patients with cognitive impairments, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced ICU environment, prioritizing patient care and adhering to ICU protocols.
- Continuously assess and adapt to new medical knowledge and best practices to provide high-quality care.
**Experience:**
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
- Experience in medical-surgical settings, including acute care and trauma medicine.
- Proficiency in Epic systems and other electronic medical records.
- Strong experience in specimen collection and processing, catheterization, and suturing procedures.
- Prior experience in memory care and ICU settings is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on patient care and safety.

Minimum Requirements: The following experience is required: 2 years of current Med/Surg experience. 39 bed private room medical/surgical/respiratory EMR-Cerner Every other weekend required
Job Summary: * Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. Responsibilities: * Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate. * Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. * Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. * Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Complexity of Work: * Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
