We’re seeking an experienced and caring Registered Nurse (RN) to join our unit for a 13-week travel contract. If you’re passionate about cardiovascular care and looking for a supportive and fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you!
Qualifications:
- 2 years current medical/surgical RN experience - required
- 1 year cardiovascular nursing- preferred
- KS RN License (or compact)
- AHA BLS Certification
- Driver's License
- Updated Resume
- Current experience with telemetry monitoring and basic cardiovascular nursing care.
- Ability to start IVs independently, with support from the IV team available for assistance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care in a Medical/Surgical Cardiovascular Unit, including monitoring and assessing patients recovering from cardiovascular procedures and surgeries.
- Administer treatments and medications per physician orders and unit protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best patient outcomes.
- Start IVs, with additional support from the IV team when needed.
- Monitor telemetry patients remotely to track their heart rhythms and vital signs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure the highest level of care and patient satisfaction.
