Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse - Acute Care to join our team at Fidé. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality patient care in acute settings, ensuring that patients receive the best possible treatment and support during their recovery process.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards.
- Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team promptly.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Assist with discharge planning and educate patients and families on post-discharge care.
- Perform critical procedures such as IV insertion, cardiac catheterization, and spinal taps when necessary.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
- Experience in critical care or acute care settings preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
