Job Overview: Fidé is seeking an experienced OB/GYN Sonographer to join a healthcare team in Lawton, OK. This is a full-time, day shift position with a guaranteed 38-hour weekly package. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in OB/GYN sonography, experience with EMR systems, and the ability to deliver high-quality diagnostic images.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound imaging procedures for obstetric and gynecologic patients.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including images and measurements.
- Communicate effectively with patients, providing comfort and explaining procedures.
- Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and report any issues promptly.
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
- Participate in patient education regarding ultrasound procedures and aftercare.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of current OB/GYN Sonographer experience.
- License: Current Oklahoma Sonography License.
- Certifications: Additional certifications may be required (e.g., ARDMS).
- Skills Checklist: Must submit a skills checklist completed within the past 12 months.
- EMR Experience: Proficient in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, including detailing years of experience and the systems used.
- References: Three supervisory references from the past two years of employment.
- Driver’s License: Valid and up-to-date driver’s license.
Schedule:
- Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (10 hours)
- Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (38-hour weekly guarantee)
Compensation:
- Travel Hourly Pay: $20.00
- Travel Stipend: $1,216.80 per week
- Travel Weekly Package: $1,936.80
