Wound Care RN - 13-Week Contract | Greensboro, NC
Shift: Days 4x10, 7am-5:30pm

This position offers a chance to lead the facility's wound care program and work closely with clinical staff to ensure the highest standards of care.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 years of recent Wound Care RN or Wound Care Coordinator experience in a hospital setting.
- AHA BLS Certification
- Active NC RN or multi-state RN license.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the facility's wound care program, ensuring adherence to national standards and best practices for wound, ostomy, and continence care.
- Provide direct patient care and assist staff nurses with consultative services, offering expert guidance and developing care protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to assess, treat, and manage patients’ wounds, recommending changes to treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate staff on wound care products, treatment protocols, and clinical best practices.
- Lead quality improvement efforts, investigating adverse events and implementing solutions based on root cause analysis.
- Monitor wound care outcomes and contribute to CMS quality data reporting.
