We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dining Room Supervisor to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, particularly within restaurant and hotel settings. This role involves overseeing dining room operations, ensuring high standards of service, and fostering a positive environment for both staff and guests.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily dining room operations to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
• Train and develop staff in food preparation, service techniques, and customer interaction.
• Manage inventory control, ensuring that all supplies are adequately stocked and organized.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to coordinate banquet services and special events.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area in compliance with health regulations.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
• Utilize POS systems for order processing and reporting.

Skills

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food industry, preferably in restaurants or hotels.
• Strong culinary knowledge with skills in food preparation and presentation.
• Excellent training development abilities to enhance team performance.
• Familiarity with inventory control processes to manage supplies effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during banquets and events.
• Proficient in using POS systems for efficient order management.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
